International calling with Sim Only

Do you often call abroad? With most Sim Only plans that is not in your bundle. Here is how it works per provider, and how to avoid high call costs.

What is international calling?

International calling means calling from the Netherlands to a number abroad. That is different from calling while on holiday. If you are in the EU, you call, text and use the internet from your bundle, just like at home. But that rule doesn't apply when you call a foreign number from the Netherlands: with most plans that isn't in your bundle, and you pay for it separately.

Do you often call family or friends abroad? Then choose a plan that includes it, or add a call bundle for abroad.

These providers include call minutes to other countries in their plans. How many, and to which countries, differs per plan.

Call bundle for abroad you can add

With these providers you can add an extra call bundle for abroad, for example for calling the EU or countries outside it. It isn't included in the prices on this site.
